Best way to visit the Waterparks...

Hi... We leave for Disney in 5 days and this will be our first time visiting Waterparks. I tried to find some information on this but really didn't get what I needed. We will be going to both waterparks but have a couple of questions. We were going to try to get some chairs in the shade for down time. Is there even a need for this? Also, is it safe to leave your towels and belongings on the chairs? Since we have not visited the parks before I am not sure. I appreciate any help!!! THANKS

We have never bothered with "downtime" except to eat. When we want to relax, either lazy river or the BB wave pool are just our speed

And while a lot of folks leave stuff by their chairs, we're fans of the lockers.

We typically get a couple of chairs first thing. If nothing else it is a meeting point. My wife probably uses them more than anyone else when I'm doing something with the kids.

We get a locker every time. It's not expensive and it keeps us from losing something important in the sand.

We are typically locker people, to us it's just not worth the chance.

We also don't stop and rest, hang in the water or lazy river.

We usually find a shady spot and claim some chairs first thing. We leave iphones back in the room safe and just take a tote bag with sunscreen, towels, etc.

Agree that shady spots need to be staked out first thing. While I do not bring anything valuable, I still like a locker for the ability to keep things dry in the event of a pop up storm.
