from CBR. I think it would be easiest to just take a taxi. I need to pick up a rental car from Hertz located at SOG for one day. They said they would come pick me up, but I think I want to be there when they open so we can get a start on the day. Is a taxi the easiest way to get to SOG from Caribbean Beach? Any ideas on approx. cost and how long to get there?

I think a taxi is definitely the easiest way to get ot SOG from CBR. I took a taxi from SOG to POP last October and fare for that was $15. Not sure what it would be from CBR to SOG.

When going to SOG from a Disney resort in the past I've gotten to the Poly and walked over to SOG.

I've stayed at both resorts. Why not take the bus to the TTC and walk to SOG? It's only a little farther than walking from Poly and you only have to get on one bus!

This is what we do...We take the bus from our hotel to the Magic Kingdom then we take the ferry over to the TTC then we take the SOG bus to the resort. We do this every trip to have lunch at Evergreens and buy our Tickets. DH is service connected.

There are no busses to the TTC from the WDW resorts.

Would this work for those no service connected? I have heard that you need to show proof before you could get on the SOG bus at the TTC.

Okay, so take the bus to MK and over then take the ferry or monorail or WHATEVER over to the TTC, real simple.

You don't have to take the bus over, it takes less time to walk over than it does to wait for the bus. We stayed at SOG last Nov and only rode the SOG bus once and that was to AK. We walked every morning and evening except the one to either Poly or TTC. IT takes about 10 minutes to walk. There are paths/sidewalks the whole way. All you do is follow the path signs from TTC to the poly and then walk past the front door to poly and stay on the path under the monorail to the street where you cross over onto the path directly to SOG. Easy and FREE.

In the past we've taken the bus from our WDW resort to DTD, did some things at DTD then taken the resort bus over to the Poly and walked to SOG. Not a bad walk and gives you the opporturnity to see some of the grounds at both resorts.

As the original poster stated, they want to get there first thing in the morning, so a taxi may be the best bet.

However, if you really want to take Disney transportation, be at your bus stop at 6:25 am. Take the Magic Kingdom bus. Tell the driver you are having breakfast at Ohana. The driver then may be able to take you directly to the Polynesian. From the Polynesian, go downstairs and take the walkways over to Shades of Green.

Bus to MK, boat or monorail to Poly (do they both run early in the day?) and walk to SoG.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I think taxi appears to be the easiest least complicated way to get there. I appreciate the $15 +/- as that was about what I was guesstimating it would cost. Thanks again everyone.
