Suggestions needed to help me keep track of my tickets and room key please. They usually end up shoved in my back pocket.......not the best place for them! We are a family of 5 (with 3 kids ages 5 and under) staying at the DLH for 5 days :cool1: Gonna need to keep them somewhat handy to be able to get at them quickly when needed.

Maybe a lanyard? I need ideas. Please and thank you :)

The lanyards can actually be tricky because the plastic pouch part can pretty easily come detached from the rest of the lanyard, and then you're out of luck. I do just keep my park tickets and my fastpasses in a wallet. I use a Magic Wallet so it's not very big and I just keep it in my backpack.

I just bought a small zipper pouch from Vera Bradley. Looks like a small coin pouch maybe. Park Tickets and fast passes fit perfectly in it as well as room keys. I will just keep that in my bag, but at least they are contained and easy to find, then I can just grab that pouch out while doing fastpass runs. These do have a little hook/claw clasp thingy and a key ring, that can be attached to a lanyard if you would like, (also sold by Vera Bradley) but I won't personally.

I have both, one to hold my id and one cc and cash in for the parks so I don't have to take my whole wallet, and one for the tickets described above. And both designs would work for either. Surprisingly holds more than I would have thought!

Good luck!

I wear a little wallet on a strap that can go around my neck across one shoulder. Just big enough to hold credit card, room key, a small amount of cash and park tickets. DH wears a fanny pack.

I just use a business card wallet from an office store. They're thinner than regular wallets and only have 1 pocket/slot on each side. One side for the tickets, one side for the room key, credit card, and ID.

Can you buy these in any stores? Or have to order online?

The last time we went, we got lanyards with a zippered pouch at the end instead of a clear plastic pocket. They worked great for holding our tickets and fast passes. Our older DD (9 at the time) also like wearing her own and collecting a few pins. We got them in the HOJO gift/convenience store, but think lots of places on Harbor had them.

We always take a picture of our tickets with our phone just to be on the safe side...
I discovered last trip that Not Your Daughter's Jeans have deep front pockets that fit a room key/ticket perfectly and keep them from jabbing into you on rides.

I wear a lanyard, have for 6 years now, I've never lost a pouch. I keep my AP (or park hoppers) and FPs in there. I carry my room key in my wallet in my sling bag or in my back pocket (the wallet) if I have a pocket that buttons. :)

On our last trip Aug 11-17 I used a small crossover purse it was so nice the front area was small enough just for park tickets and fastpasses and it zip up so I know that they would not come out. Plus I was able to have a spot for sunglasses, small case of sunscreen, and a couple other little things. It worked out perfect!!! My husband carried a backpack!!!:cool1:

I have the lanyard and I love it. Clip is really secure, and it's a great place to hold fastpasses and my annual pass without jamming everything in my front pocket or searching around in my purse.

the lanyards with the zipper are the way to go. I have had those with the plastic but I much prefer the zipper. We bought ours at one of the little stores across from the park and it was super cheap and it has worked great for years!!

We make a copy of all our tickets just incase we somehow lose them. At the parks I keep them all in my fannypack since I am the FP runner.

Does anyone know where I can get a lanyard for cheap?

Party City has some for $1, they don't have a pouch though. I just buy my lanyards and pouches from DL, about $5 for a pouch and about $8 for a lanyard. I bought one of the cool new color changing ones, they change colors in the sun, coolest lanyard ever! LOL

Mine goes in a small ziploc bag and then in my fastened cargo shorts pocket.
