Best way to impress a friend into buying?

I spend half my money on WDW, and waste the rest.

We have friends very interested in DVC (DW, DH and 2 young kids) and want to stay a few nights at WDW and check out DVC. They are not loaded financially but do pretty well. Anyway I think they should rent points and stay at a 1BR DVC for the best exposure to what they will receive right? They are leaning towards resale but may stay with SSR so they can finance with disney. They want to go in October and I think they should try BWV for location and most common size of the rooms. They would like VWL also. I also hope a rental works out with no problems. Any great ideas?

I would recommend that they stay in the AS resorts, or moderate resorts for a week... and then near the end of their stay... take a tour of DVC.

The contrast will probably be a larger motivator than the actual experience of staying in a DVC unit.

A problem that I see is that at this point they will have trouble getting a reservation at the BWV for October. It is very popular there at that time of year because of the food and wine festival at EPCOT.

I would agree about October. I am already on a waitlist for two nights at the BWV. MS said that October is really busy already. There was nothing at WLV either!

Hope you can get something for them
