Best way to go about changing

Saratoga Springs is our home resort. Booked a trip for November. How difficult will it be to switch to another resort at the 7 month window? What is the best way to go about it? We are fine with Saratoga Springs, but might want Beach Club or Boardwalk?

It's 7 months. BWV and BCV can be hard to get during the fall because of the food & wine festival. You can always waitlist if not available.

Call Member Services to check availabilty first. Call early on the very first day possible -- 7 months from the morning after your first overnight on your trip. You can book one day at a time this way. They will move you over to the new resort and then you can cancel the original resort reservation. You can also put your name on a waitlist and if your nights "come through" they can do it automatically. You tell them how you want to pay for it (like giving approval if you need to borrow points or cancel something else to pay for it) and they'll do it. I am on a waitlist now for one night this summer and I can check the DVC website to see if it has come through.
