What is the best way to get from Old Key West to the Yachtsman Steakhouse?

Also to go from Old Key West to a reservation at Chef Mickey's we would just take the bus to Magic Kingdom and walk over to the Contemporary, right? Is there a special path to walk?

Last year getting from the resort to parks and restaurants is a blur right now, thanks for your help!!

The best way to Yachtsman is probably to take boat to DTD then transfer to Beach club bus.:goodvibes
And you are correct there is a path to the Contempory at the magic kingdom.

You could also take the bus from OKW to DHS, then take the boat from there to the Yacht/Beach Club.

If you decide on that route and your dinner is over after DHS is closed, your best option to get back would be as the PP poster mentioned; taking the bus to DTD & the boat back to OKW.

To the Beach Club, boat to DTD, bus to Beach would be your best bet or you can technically go to any park and get a bus from there to Beach as well. Studios would be the closest to the Beach. The others would be out of the way, but it really depends on which parks are still open at the time of your reservation.

To Contemporay, bus to MK then walk OR take the monorail is an option as well.

Depending on the timing of your reservation, you might want to bus to DTD and bus to YC. The boat can take some time. Personally, if I am anywhere in the DTD resort area I just take a taxi. . .usually less than 10.00 including tip.

We always take a cab. No matter how you go, it's a pretty long route with the bus/boat changes that have to be made.

If I were going to use Disney transportation, I would take a bus to DHS and then take the walking path from DHS to YC (it's faster than the boat).

Thank you all for your advice- I think we will attempt to schedule a taxi just to avoid being the ones to delay a dinner reservation with 20 other people staying elsewhere.

I also recommend taxi. We did this from Yachtsman Steakhouse to the Polynesian. We had other routes worked out - bus back to Epcot and then monorail, but we had a 6:30 reservation and didn't end up finishing dinner until 8:45. No time to go back to Epcot - and we didn't want to take several busses or a boat and a bus. Cab was the easiest way to go. :thumbsup2
