Best way to get to Universal or Coca Beach

We will be there in April 2010 and hopefully Harry Potter World will be open by than at Universal so we have to take our son. If it is not open we are going to go to Cocoa Beach for the day.

Any good recommendations on how to get to either/or? We do not want to rent a car for the day, I am the best person for getting lost and the worst back seat driver imaginable. Any good transportation companies or shuttle services?
