Best way to get to Universal from WDW GF

What would be the best option to go from GF to Universal for a day?
3 passengers
Towncar or Taxi? (we are not renting a car while at WDW)

what Co. would you recommend I call - or should I just grab a taxi waiting out front of hotel???

Bell Services can get you a taxi - there'll probably be some waiting in a convenient area of the GF parking lot. But it might cost you as much as $30 - $50 each way. Better would be to look into renting a car for one 24 hour period. You can get the car at the Car Care Center and the agency there (Alamo/National) has shuttles that will pick you up and return you to the resort. Might well be cheaper.

Mears offers a shuttle to Universal, I believe the cost is $15 per person for round trip transfer.
If you do decide to take a taxi, I have friends that take a taxi to Sea World when they're at WDW and the fare from DD is cheaper than if they picked the taxi up at their resort.
