We need to get from WDW to the Shuttle Launch on Aug 28th.
What is the best way to get there?
Rent a car?
Go on a shuttle?
When watching the launch, how close can you get? Are there marked spots to watch it from?
Any advice, comments, or suggestions would be soooo appreciated!
Thanks!

I watched from the beach at Cocoa Beach several years ago. I would rent a car. Up until just a few days before they give you something like a four hour window for the launch and even then there were several delays in my case. (I kept dialing the NASA number for updates, but you can go on the Pier and watch the TV)

You can buy tickets to watch at the space center. I have no idea how you get those.

I agree with CarolA. You won't know until the last minute if the launch is a go. There are places along the coast you can watch but you need to get there early if you want to be up front.

I got to see the last shuttle launch and it was awesome!!!!
