Best way to get to Hoop Dee Doo??

Some of my family have been and said they had to take 3 diff. buses to get to FW campground, to get to Hoop Dee doo. What's going on with that?? They weren't staying onsite. I think (?) they left from MK to go there. I can't make sense of it. We'll be staying at AKL so what's the best route if we leave from there? Or whatever park.... I am not getting on 3 diff buses with a toddler...NO WAY. I asked them why we can't drive over there, they said "no...you can't get to Hoop Dee Doo, or into the campground...only by bus"
Is that so??? That is just weird to me.....

If you have a car the fastest way will be to drive. You will have to park at the Outpost area and then take the internal bus to Pioneer Hall.

From AK, I'd take the bus to the MK and then the boat to FW. HDD is a very short walk from the boat dock.

If you're really at AK, vs AKL, then I would take the bus to the CR..not MK. The AK buses take you to the TTC. I know that is going to change at some point, but as of right now, I believe the AK and DHS buses to MK still drop you at the TTC. Then you have to either boat or monorail over to MK and get a boat to FtW.
If you are AK (the park), take the bus to the CR. Then, you can get the boat over to FtW from there...at least I believe the boat that runs between WL and CR also stops at FtW.

You are going to get a lot of different opinions on this but I feel the quickest and best route is to take a bus from any park to WL and then switch to the FW bus. The FW bus will make its first stop at the Settlement, where Pioneer Hall is located.

We will have a car and sorry- I forgot to add the "L" in AKL We will most likely leave from there so the baby will (hopefully!) get a nap in.... since we have to go to the LATE show :eek

I didn't think about us taking a bus then boating over, but at 8:30 p.m. in cool weather- that might be too much for the baby. That is a nice ride, been over to WL before on it when we stayed, but wasn't during cool weather. IF we can park at WL we could run in and see that awesome tree we've only seen pix of
I hate the thought of riding a bus to AKL as late as we'll be getting out that night. She will be screaming all the way but a short ride from FW to WL then drive back to AKL....would be wonderful
