This will be our first trip and we are staying at CBR. We'd like to check out the Boardwalk one night. What is best way to get there from the CBR? It's difficult to tell from looking at the map if it's a far walk. We'll have a car.

Thanks!!:)

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

If you will have a car, driving will be the easiest way.

But what if you dont have a car...My family would like to know too...and we are staying at CBR as well.. :confused3

I read on another board that I could take a bus to Epcot - or a Bus to Blizzard Beach

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort > BUS TO Epcot® > BUS Disney's BoardWalk Inn : 37 mins.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort > BUS TO Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park > BUS Disney's BoardWalk Inn : 44 mins.

If you don't have a car the fastest and easiest way is by taxi.

Other than that, you could take a bus to the Studios then walk or take the boat over.

Or you could take a bus to MK/AK/BB/TL/DTD and then switch to a Boardwalk bus.

If you take the bus to Epcot, you'd have to walk all the way through Epcot (and use a park ticket) to get to the Boardwalk. The front gate of the Studios is much closer to the Boardwalk than the front gate of Epcot is, and you won't have to use a park ticket.

We took a cab from Boardwalk to CBR. It couldn't have cost more than $10. It's only a few min. drive.

I recently stayed one night at CBR before checking in at the Boardwalk, the two resorts are very close to each other, I took a cab and it cost around $5. If you have a car I'd just drive. You could also take MGM bus then the boat or walk (about 10-15 min walk) to the Boardwalk.

The fastest way would be to drive....but if you happen to be going there from MGM or Epcot take the water taxi....it is a beautiful trip!!

DH and I did this in August, we were staying at WL, so we took a bus to DTD and then took the first Boardwalk Inn bus, took no more than maybe 20 minutes. Now getting from Yacht and Beach Club back to DTD was a pain and took more like 1 hour. We didn't drive because my rented ECV wouldn't fit in the car.

I stayed at CBR in Sept. Friends were at BW...A cab is the fastest!! Cost is only about $6 or $7 (depending what you want to tip) And it only takes about 3-5 minutes. :thumbsup2

Disney Studios is extremely close by bus, then hit the boat up. Boats are always a nice ride, and part of the adventure. Then, you can taxi home as you'll probably just want to get there quickly by then.
