We have dinner reservations at 9:05 PM on Aug 26 for the Cape May Clam Bake. Epcot closes at 9:00 that day. Does anyone know if we will still be able to take the bus back to MK to be able to boat back to the Fort? That would kinda stink to be stuck. :lmao:

There may be a better way, but one option that is available late into the night is to hop a bus from any resort to Downtown Disney and then from there to FW.

Unfortunately, none of the parks have evening EMH. Magic Kingdom is open till 10pm, so there "might" be a bus running there.

I would just go to the entrance of the Beach Club when you finish dinner and get on a DTD bus or MK bus, whichever comes first.

buses run an hour after park closing, so MK is probably a good choice. also, we've taken taxis back to our resorts; not the cheapest option but alot quicker!

Downtown Disney is open until 2 so it's the latest "safety net". Because of the Downtown Disney, the internal campground busses run until 2:30 AM so you should be good.

Here's a little known "back door" if it's raining and you have to come back from Magic Kingdom. You can skip the boat. You can take the bus to the Wilderness Lodge. Once at the Wilderness Lodge, you can take the bus to Fort Wilderness. The bus from the Wilderness Lodge to campground is actually the Campground Orange Loop internal bus. It goes from the settlement over to the lodge and back before continuing up the middle of the campground. You can catch Orange bus, ride it to the Wilderness Lodge and catch the bus to MK without walking more than 20 steps. The boat is great but if it's scortching hot or raining, this little trip may be more comfortable.

How late are the shops and restaurants open at DTD? With the changes coming to Pleasure Island I'm curious if that will effect how late DTD is open. We often use DTD as our place to change buses in the evening to get back to FW.

Awesome guys!!! Thanks!

I don't know how late the shops are open, but I will try to take note for ya and maybe do some asking around.

5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
