We're spending 4 nights at the GC at DL and want to go to a LA Kings game. What is the best AND safest way to get to the Staples Center? Rental car or other transportation?

I know of someone walking to the train station near angels stadium and then from union station to the Staples Center.

You would probably want to take a cab from the stations though to do this. It's a lot of walking and walking in LA isn't very practical. Hence.

Missing Persons, "Walking in L.A."

If you have amore than a couple people renting a car would be the way to go money wise. A couple harbor street hotels have rental desk in thier hotel and there is one in DTD as well.

Just be aware that traffic is a big problem and it could take a long time to get there during rush hour.

We are doing the same, heading into LA from Disney for by beloved Lakers.
We usually rent a towncar and I find it's super safe. It's a flat rate which is nice, and then the same driver can pick you up after the game

This is what I would suggest. Especially if you aren't familiar with the LA area, it is super easy to get lost and turned around trying to get out of Staples Center. I'm an LA native and I still get lost. If you have the budget, get a car/driver for SURE.
