Best way to get from Airport?

January we will be going on a cruise and flying there for the first time, so I will probably have a lot of questions. Anyway, what is the best way to get from the airport to the port? We will be going in a day early and just staying somewhere close to the port, so not a Disney resort.

Your choices are rental car, or private limo/town car.

Several hotels (and some booking agencies) offer a very convenient "fly, snooze, and cruise" package. They pick you up at MCO, take you to the hotel, you have one night there, sometimes with breakfast, take you to the port the next morning, and pick you up after the cruise and take you back to MCO. Just one example is Hampton at Cocoa Beach. Pricing is all inclusive, competitive, and it's convenient for your planning and peace of mind. Just google to see some of those possibilities.

We are going to stay at the Hyatt in the airport and take DCL bus to the port.

I will check into those. Has anyone used Uber to get back and forth?

I recently read something that said Uber is not allowed to pick up at MCO. They can drop people off there but can't pick up. Never used them so don't know how accurate that is.

We usually stay near the port the night before and rent a car at MCO the day before and drop it at a rental office near the port.

If we stay at the Hyatt MCO then we take the DCL bus (so convenient) which is $35 pp each way.
