I haven't bought London theatre tickets for years but I'm thinking of taking the family (4 of us) to see the Lion King for DDs birthday in December. The website I've been looking at charge a £9 booking fee per ticket - is this normal?

What's the best way to buy the tickets - I don't need a package as we're just 30 minutes from Waterloo.

Wow - £9 per ticket sounds a bit on the steep side

Just checked www.ticketmaster.co.uk and they seem to be adding a total booking fee of £7.20 for 4 tickets, which seems more reasonable (but still a bit of a cheek if you ask me).

Thanks for the link that was a much more reasonable fee. I've booked them for December - I think I'm more excited than DD.

Glad you got the tickets Libby. It is a truly unique show - we went last year for my birthday and loved every minute (and i'm sure i'm many years older than your DD :D). I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time.
