Best way from DL to DCA?

OK this is probably a strange question. But I was wondering what way would be quickest from TL in DL to DCA? My DH thinks the monorail to DTD and then walk to the gates of DCA. I think walking from TL out DL and into DCA. My DH will be running over in the afternoon to grab a FP(from TL) and then meeting us at TT in DL.

When we went to DCA, we left DL through the main entrance and crossed over straight into the DCA main entrance. It seems like the walk from DTD was a bit further, but I guess it depends on where you started from.

I think it'll depend on when your DH will be walking through DL in the afternoon. If DL's "Parade of Dreams" is snaking its way through the park, another idea is to take the Disneyland Railroad from the Tomorrowland Station, get off at the next stop (Main Street), then walk to DCA. The monorail is an option too, but it does put you deep in the heart of DTD and you'll also have to deal with the security lines to get back in. If you're staying at the Grand Californian though, you can bypass the security lines, cut through the hotel and quickly get in DCA via the GC's exclusive entrance.

I think you're right though...if there are no parade or major crowd issues along Main Street, then walking through DL to get to DCA would be the best.

From tomorrowland, take the train to Main Street, go through the front gate and walk over to DCA.

I would never have even considered taking the Monorail to DTD and walking back through DTD to the entrance of DCA. That seems like a waste of time and that it would be a long walk!

I have to agree. We were just there, and, because we were staying at GC, we found it easier to go through DCA to DL. Taking the monorail means you'll have to go through security again. Te only thing that would make this work is if you are staying on-site and could use the GC/DCA entrance. The security there is really quick. (and you are already into the park, right by GRR.)
