Best Waterpark in Orlando?

So, I'm planning a trip to Disney in May, and I'm thinking about spending a day at a waterpark as well.

I know of:
  • Wet 'n Wild
  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
  • Disney's Blizzard Beach

I am a 20 year old female going with my boyfriend, so we'd actually prefer the less kid-friendly park. Granted, I know they will all have kiddy rides and entertainment, but which one would might have more options for older people? We are big fans of roller coasters and thrill rides, so whichever seems like it'd be the most exciting. (Also not a big fan of wave pools--never really saw the appeal!)

Thanks!

Wet n Wild= no real theming, very good thrilling slides, many multi person slides.
Blizzard Beach= cool ski resort theme, good amount of slides, some pretty intense slides like summit plummet, big park with long lazy river
Typhoon lagoon=Tropical theme, best wave pool of all the parks,as well as the only one with a water coaster(Crush n Gusher)good lazy river.A bit lacking in other type of slides, with only one or two considered somewhat intense.Very lush park.
Aquatica=South Pacific theme, newer park that is smaller than the Disney parks, they are getting a new slide this year which helps as the park needed more of them.Less lush than the Disney parks.

I would suggest Blizzard Beach first,if you don't care about theming then you might enjoy Wet n Wild. The Disney parks are the nicest, followed by Aquatica but Wet n Wild has unique slides and even a knee-ski around their lake.

One thing to remember is since you will be visiting Disney you can add the Water Parks and more option to your Disney parks pass for $52 for your entire stay and depending on how many days your pass is for you'll have a certain amount of visits to the waterparks(Typhoon Lagoon,Blizzard Beach) as well as Disneyquest and Wide World of Sports. For example if you get a 4 day Magic your Way with the waterparks and more option you'll have 4 days at the Disney parks as well as 4 visits to your choice of the two waterparks,Disneyquest and Wide World of Sports.Doing this you can do both Disney waterparks for $52.

I can comment on Blizzard Beach and Wet and Wild. Blizzard beach is the prettiest with a great Lazy River and it would be a wonderful place to soak up some sun. The kid's areas are in one section and you could avoid it entirely. Wet and Wild has some pretty extreme rides and was a blast. As a 20 year old, you may like Wet n Wild better. There was an older crowd there. Either way, you will have fun. The only thing Wet N wild doesn't have is Disney Magic. But sometimes it's nice to get away for a while.
