Best walking route after welcome show to Dumbo

What is the quickest/less traffic way to exit the welcome show (or where should we stand) to get over the Dumbo immediately after the show? Thank you!

I would stay toward the right (as you're facing the castle), there's a walkway to Fantasyland (marked in red below).

Quickest would be for you to take the first spoke to the right of the Castle, now this is the same route as everyone wanting to go on 7DMT will take so it will be very popular but you can hang back a bit and allow the wave of people to walk in front while you go towards Dumbo which should not be very popular

Fastest way to Dumbo is with all of the Seven Dwarfs rope droppers, unfortunately. I'd stand centered/slightly to the right for the welcome show, then turn and follow everyone going to 7DMT. When they head left past the tea cups, go right and the crowds will suddenly open up. It will be crowded for a few moments, but it's by far the most direct way to go.

I was just coming back to add this- hang back, then take the path toward Dumbo. Let the 7DMT crowd get ahead of you.

I would wait about 5 minutes after rope drop then head toward dumbo just follow the crowds going toward 7DMT The line for dumbo will not be long and with the indoor play area for the line I would not do this ride first but latter in the day when it is much hotter and the lines are longer.

You definitely won’t have to rush to Dumbo. Your kids might actually enjoy it more later in the day when they can take a break and just play in the waiting area.
