Best viewing locations for Illuminations

There are two nights which we will be in Epcot for dinner. One night in Japan - Teppanyaki and the other in Canada - Le Cellier. Both reservations are are later seatings, 8pm and 7:50pm. I am aware that Illuminations begins at 9pm and it will be close, but once we did get out of these restaurants, would both of these locations offer good views of Illuminations? And whether or not, where are the best spots?

We were at Teppanyaki once during illuminations. There is a large, outdoor deck along the front upper level of the building where the view is great. We just took a little dinner 'break' and went out to watch. I does get a little crowded, however, not really a secret place!!
