Best Viewing for Wishes... WITH tickets for After Hours

Hi, everyone!
We'll be returning to the MK After Hours event with my parents on January 27th (I think it's the 27th... it's that Friday). I attended this in May with just my husband, and trying to get anywhere through the park after fireworks makes you feel like a salmon going upstream.
So, here's the question: What's the best place to watch Wishes before the After Hours party? I'd prefer not behind the castle, since my Mom hasn't seen the show in years. Did anyone try hugging the right or left side and was able to get through quickly?

Since the parade has gone away, I find more people are leaving right after the fireworks but it's still a salmon run out of the hub just watch out for more people heading to the exit to cut off your escape going the other way.

I like being on the hub right where the adventureland path comes into it. It's a good spot to see the castle for the projections, you can get into adventureland pretty quick and then if desired cut over past the restrooms to frontierland. There is also a ledge on the wall for the flower bed which you can sit on if your early enough. I find the street tends to not have a horde of people in that section so it's good for little ones to still see. I also like to do video and there is a trash can to put a small tripod on without getting in anyones way. I find most people go towards tomorrowland or liberty square trying to get behind the castle but it's a great time for jungle cruise, pirates and those attractions which can be time consuming.

If you know the place well, you can also cut over from that walkway to behind ye old christmas shoppe to quickly get ahead of the horde at the liberty bell but you need to move and with mom joining I can see you getting delayed and adventureland might be perfect.

I did the even last year and doing it this year too. last year I did the desert party and had a spot in the grass and all I did was wait about 5 to 10 minutes for the crowded to leave and by the time I went to space it was a walk on

this year I plane to be in the back of the park.
