Best View vs. Best Theming

I just posted a while ago about whether I should rent a villa or get two rooms at the Polynesian LV concierge. Now I'm thinking about maybe the Contemporary club level (14th floor?) with a MK view. The only thing is that the view here is better than the theming at the Polynesian and the romantic feel of the Polynesian.

I should just stick with Polynesian LV concierge, right? It's location can't be beat, the view of the castle is good as would be the fireworks view, and I've heard the Polynesian has the best concierge on property.

So, would you go for the great MK view from the Contemporary or the romance and concierge at the Polynesian?

Honestly, I would go for the MK view. We stayed in concierge at the Poly and didn't really feel it was worth the extra money for just snacks, desserts and continental breakfast (the lounge was always packed). Honestly, I know I am the minority here, but we didn't care for the resort that much at all. We hated the TTC and it seemed we had to go there A LOT (granted, since we have been there they have added more direct bus routes). The rooms were lovely but I think the Contemporary tower rooms are bigger and I know what you're saying, the bright colors and modern decor aren't exactly romantic feeling, and the tropical rooms at the Poly are. I would much rather stay in the tower on the 14th floor with a spectacular Mk view so I could watch Wishes every night, then I would really feel the Disney Magic. Besides, we didn't really think the Poly was that romantic. Then again, we had our 2 year old with us and I was 5 months preganant! LOL!!

I think there is only one thing to do- do half of your stay at the Contemporary and half at the Poly!!
