We're staying in a 1 BDR at the BCV on our upcoming trip. We're wondering if there is a particular view that is better than other views. Right now we're leaning towards requesting a 1st floor room facing the quiet pool unless there is a really good view that we should request. Thanks!

We had a pool view on a higher up floor, and though not a problem for us, the quiet pool was noisy at night, lol.

I would think first floor facing this pool would be even noisier. Just something to consider as you make your plans.

How late was it noisy until? That is a good point that I hadn't considered. I really don't want to be trying to sleep while someone is living it up in the quiet pool at 1AM:laughing:

Just be careful looking for the "best" view-I found out the hard way just how subjective it is. Once at BCV, I got a room that someone had just raved about having the "best" view ever. I skipped up to my villa just so grateful for my good fortune. It turned out to be, for me, a mediocre view. It was right by the road and although that didn't seem to bother the other person too much, it was very distracting to me. I like the Courtyard view-you can't see Illuminations at all, which might take it "out of the running" for some people, but I love being able to see all the comings and goings. My favorite, however, is the woods view. Yeah, all you see is a bunch of trees, but I loved seeing the tip-top of the Eifel tower and every evening I'd see a Cooper's Hawk in the trees. So I loved it.

By the "courtyard view," do you mean the area where people walk from the BC to the BCV that has the Ariel (I think?) statue outside?

Most views at BCV are nothing special, so I wouldn't worry much about it. Our family prefers quiet, so we request "Non-handicapped, Non-smoking, Quiet location." This usually gets us a woodlands view on a higher floor.

This is good to know :) Quiet would be good!

That's exactly it! The room # I was in ended in 05. Lots of fun to see the goings on.
