Best Value Dining at SeaWorld

My wife and 3 kids aged 9-13 will be going to US/IOA, I am just wondering where the best value for meals are, not looking for anything really fancy, just decent food reasonably priced, for both lunch and dinner.

I'd like to know this too. I saw a "Family Picnic" all you care to eat meal on the Sea World website. Has anyone gone to this? It requires advance reservations. There are only 2 seating times -- 1:30 and 5:30. Anybody??

I am assuming you are asking about Seaworld not IO/US. The best value for food at Seaworld IMO is the Hospitality House. We get one beef stew in a bread bowl along with one desert. This is plenty of food for 3 of us (me, DW, DD age 6). You can also get free beer for the adults here. We all like the beef stew especially my DD. This makes for a very good, cheap meal with free beer to drink. Doesn't get much better than this.

Some shops have grab n go deli wraps, and they went fast. I don't know how much they cost, but a list of shops that carry them can be found on the back of the park map.

We ended up splitting 1/2 bbq chicken and fries for $9.30 (not including drink). Smokey Creek Grill.


Dinner was pretty much a $5 slice of pizza (Slices are big much like what you'd find at a Sbarro).

The sandwiches at the hospitality house looked awesome, but the lines were very long. There was no wait at the free beer line, go figure.

The deli wrap combos at the gift shops are $8 and are way over priced if you ask me...a small wrap, a very small bag of chips, and a bottled drink. For a dollar or two more you can go to the pizza place and get 1/2 rottiserie chicken, roasted veggies (close to 2 cups) and a huge amount of fries...more than enough to split. Their kids meals are either $6 or $7...they have mac & cheese, hot dog, slice of pizza and something else that I can't remember. They come with a ton of fries, a box of raisins and a kid's drink. And they come in a Shamu shaped container to take with you. My son got the pizza meal and couldn't finish everything (and he can EAT).
