Monday June 11 Magic Kingdom Revisit
We always go back to revisit MK and EPCOT. We really didnt have a plan just go and hope for the best.
My inlaws still wearing their Anniversary buttons were sung to by the Barber Shop Quartet. It was very sweet.
My nieces were so good the whole week. They never cried or complained. They loved the characters and rides. I was very proud of them.
Baby Syd!
Cousin Lexi
We ate dinner at my kids favorite place Liberty Tree Tavern.
They know they can eat normal food here. My son and niece, Victoria made a bet with me that Pluto was one of the characters that came to your table. I only remembered Minnie, Goofy, Chip, and Dale. So stupid me I bet them a dollar each that there was no Pluto.
We tried to use our fast passes for Space Mountain all day but it was never up and running. That ride needs a make over. It stays broke down more than it stays running.
Once again, it poured for about 2 hours while we waited for Wishes. The parade was about 30 minutes late starting. We got our great seats at the Noodle Station. Man, that place stinks! We sat right under the covering till the rain and lighting stopped then pulled our seats up to the front. Tinkerbell flew right over our heads. That music for Wishes just makes me cry. My husband bought the CD. Even though it was very late and we were all tired. It was so worth seeing. My little nieces didn't make it though. They slept through the whole thing.
I have one CM story to tell. Early in the day my daughter lost her phone. We tried to back track to see if we could find it. We were on our way to lost and found when my phone rang. It was the CM who found her phone. She scrolled down the phone book till she saw MOM and called let us know where to pick up the phone. Very sweet. Ashley was going through texting withdrawls. Poor thing!
Tuesday , June 12 EPCOT revisit
The parents decided to sit this one out. They stayed at the resort and caught up on some rest. They would meet us for Dinner at Coral Reef. Again we had no plan for this day . My only goal was to see Illuminations because we had not seen it last Thursday.
We got our fast passes first thing for Soarin. We got on Universe of Energy. By this time any ride we went on were it was dark and cool , I was asleep in about 3 minutes. My daughter took a picture of me with her phone. I was slumped over, mouth open asleep. Not pretty!
We toured the countries and ate lunch. Again it was starting to steam up pretty good. You could just feel a storm coming. We were taking pictures and enjoying the sights that we had skipped before when my oldest brother called me. He lives in St. Augustine not too far from Orlando. He infomed me that a huge storm had just come through and was headed our way. We decided to make our way to American Adventure before it got bad. We didnt make it. This wind came out of no where! That is how fast this storm hit. It blew over the vendor carts, umbrellas, Souveniors were flying everywhere. I saw a huge umbrella hit and knock over a family. We made into the gift shop in Japan. It only lasted 15 minutes but it was ugly. As soon as it was over I could not believe the difference in the temperature. It had dropped at leat 15 degrees and no humidity. There was a great breeze for the rest of the day. Finally nice weather.
We had a great dinner at Coral Reef. This was our first time eating there.
There was no more bad weather so we were able to see Illuminations. Yeah!
