Best use of AirTran Credits?

I want to simply use 5.5 credits up before they expire next week. Would like to book a O/W on AT using 8 credits.

I'm thinking I'll purchase 3000 SWA RR for a total of $82.50, and transfer them immediately to AT. The conversion would give me the 2.5 points I need. Purchasing 3 credits direct from AT would be $117. The first option seems the least expense alternative, plus it simply cleans things up nicely. Any foreseeable problems with this strategy?

Alternatively, would it be better to use these credits to upgrade?

Any additional suggestions?

We use the credits for upgrades to business class. The only issue you may run in to is if business class is already full.

I too always use mine for BC upgrades. Sure will miss them when the cattle call company completes the takeover.
