What is the best experience if you are going to use 2 table serving credits at one time.

Dinner at Califonia Grill timed to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom!!

Hands down Narcoossee's at GF timed to watch Wishes. Just magical. The lobster is awesome too!!

You should check out the menu's of the signature restaurants you may be interested in and see what appeals to you best. Try to price out what you and anyone else with you would get. While CA grill is 2 credits and has a great view of MK, it's menu doesn't appeal too much to my DH. I know if we were to go there, he would most likely end up getting a flat bread and being done - nothing I would want him to use 2 TS credits worth on..but something that I could still make an ADR for and pay out of pocket rather than use the credits. On the other hand, we both have pointed out several different things on the menu of Narcoossee's that we would like try, or have already had there and would def. order again. For us to pay off of plan, the bill would be way more pricey and thus the 2 credits would be worth it.

I agree with the PP - check the menus out for yourself. My husband likes comfort type food so a lot of the items offered at the signature restaurants are not to his liking.

If we were looking to spend 2 credits for a meal, I think we would probably dine at the castle. We have yet to try it but it seems like it would be one of the more memorable dining experiences.

Citricos, Flying Fish, Jiko, or Cali Grill - look at the menus and see which one appeals to you the most.

For me it's Narcoossee's. I love the surf & turf, incredible seat to view the Electric Water Pagent, and a great view to watch Wishes. This is a must do for us every time we are in WDW. :woohoo:

hoop de doo revue!!! it's just the 2 of us, so I thought it would be just for kids. I was wrong! the food is great! the best fried chicken!!! ribs, salad, corn bread, baked beans, corn on the cob, strawberry shortcake.. all u can eat, served family style at your table. plus!!! beer and wine free!
the show is such fun.. corny yes! but fun!!! we have done it twice now. and will again.
(be sure to allow plenty transportation time!)

I agree about checking out the menus. I loved Narcoosee's....I'm a picky eater, and the food there was definitely something I'd eat. Some of the other places I wouldn't be happy with and it would be a waste of credits. I loved being able to get lobster, a drink and a dessert at Narcoosee's. My personal preference, but definitely would go there again!!!

My vote is for Hoop-Dee-Doo. Good food, entertaining show, unlimited beer and wine. You really can't miss. If you break the 2 TS credits down, 1 credit for food, 1 credit for show, IMO, it is the only place on site that is worth 2 TS credits.

I would not waist 2 TS credits on a signature unless you are on the DxDP. When I am out eating at a nicer restaurant, I like to enjoy the appitizer, entree and desert as well as some wine, beer or a cocktail. If you are anything like me, to use 2TS credits and still have to pay OOP for half of the meal, it isnt worth it, IMO.

Last Sept. DH and I wanted to try Narcoossee's for the first time. But we decided to pay OOP for it rather than use 2 TS credits. We used the 2 credits elsewhere for breakfast and another dinner.

Is the Yachtsman Steak house worth 2 table credits? We are going there in a few weeks tell me what you think? We are staying at YC and the kids will be at the Sandcastle for the night. TIA

Yachtsman is one of the more positively reviewed signatures around here, yes.

OP: Our favorite signature is Jiko.

Cali Grill is worth doing at least once, but it is noisy, crowded, very busy, not romantic at all, and you are not gauranteed a view of the MK or the fireworks.

Does the TS Credit cover the beer and wine.

Another vote for Hoop Dee Doo. :)

Some of the adult drinks are included in the price. The following is from allears.net

Entertainment: While you enjoy an all you can eat dinner, you are entertained by good old fashion country western singers, dancers and comedians. Be prepared for slapstick, corny jokes and lots of singing and dancing.

Your meal, brought to your table includes:

Starters: Tossed salad, loaf of bread and honey butter

Ma's Delicious Fried Chicken
Smoked Barbecued Pork Ribs
Mashed Potatoes
Country Style Baked Beans

Strawberry Shortcake

Included with the meal: Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Root Beer, Sprite, Orange, Pink Lemonade, Iced Tea, Apple Juice, Milk, Chocolate Milk, Hot Tea, Coffee, Draft Bud Light, Chardonnay, Rose, Sangria, and Merlot

For your added enjoyment, there are bottled beers:

Corona $5.25
Sam Adams $5.25
Miller Lite $4.25
Heineken $5.25

Margarita $6.50
Add Glow Cube to any drink $4.00

Plus gratuity is included at the Hoop-Dee-Doo. Keep in mind though that there are only 3 seatings 5pm 7:15pm and 9:30pm, and only the 9:30 show allows people on the dining plan to sit in the Category 1 (prime) seating. The other two shows only offer you category 2 or 3.

Citricos! DH and I went there last night, best food we've ever had at Disney. On the other hand we went to Cali Grill tonight and it was disappointing.
