I have a DD9 and a DS7. What would be the best Universal resort for us??

I'm also curious. Thinking of HRH but would love to hear advice. Also, worth it for club or not? Try to set savings budget for 2008 trip.

Probably Hard Rock. Their pool and slide are very kid friendly. There is also an ice cream parlor and lot of outdoor activities. Royal pacific pool doesn't have a slide but has a water play area instead.

i agree - go for HRH. i think that it is the easiest walk to the parks and the pool area is the greatest for the kids. the kids likes RPR but got bored with the water boat and loved the huge pool and slide at HRH. the staff at the HRH were much more attentive to the kids at the pool at HRH in my opinion.

as for club level, don't think i would ever do it as we are not around the hotel enough to really take advantage of it. also, the kids loved going to all of the different restaurants at citywalk so i have always passed on club level.

For us, the club level was worth it. I think my son ate his weight in PB&J Uncrustables while we were there. I have never wanted to bother with the whoel cooler thing so for me, it's great that the kids can just go down the hall at time to get drinks and snacks. Plus, we always ate early at the park restaurants to avoid the lines so by the time we finally got back to the room around 8:30 or so, the kids were hungry again.

Right, it all depends on your budget level. If you can visit Publix and stock a cooler before checking in, you don't need club. Most people don't think about stopping at a grocery store before checking in. It takes time, and effort to do it, but pays off with cheap drinks and breakfast in the room.
Club is worth it if you have kids, and you are around the hotel when the crowds are light. But for some people, that means being at the hotel just to take advantage of club.
