OK. What's the best TS resturant and why for 2 adults and 3 kids under 7 at the Studios for dinner?

By the way, we will have been to Ohana's for a late breakfast earlier the same day.

Sci fi is my fav place but if your kids aren't too thriled with the dark (it isn't horribly dark..just enough to give effect) 50's prime time is great too!

My kids like 50s Prime Time a lot. Mama Melrose is also good if you like Italian.

I know some have knocked it, but we really like Hollywood and Vine. We're actually planning on doing it again this year.

I think Mama Melrose's is terrific. If you go late on a rainy night, you may have the entire restaurant to yourself like we did one time.

We went there for the Fantasmic package last year and love, love, loved it!! A bit loud and crowded, but the food was well worth it!

go for Sci fi, the shakes are wonderful and the children will have fun with the cars.

Another vote for Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. I love the atmosphere and the food. Just don't expect the food to be 5 star, and you'll like it.

50's prime time...the kids will love the parents getiing in "trouble" from the 'cousins' Nothings better then seeing your dad have to stand in the corner or getting told to eat his vegetables or he doesn;t get his dessert!!

I love Sci Fi too. Its the one and only place we have been to each of our 10 trips, we just think its a hoot and have never had anything but a great meal with great service. Its also very relaxing in there, and quiet! Everyone is watching the movies so you don't have quite the usual din you have at most WDW restaurants.

I also enjoy Prime Time but if you have members of your party that don't enjoy hamming it up with servers it might not be the right choice. We love that but I know one night these two ladies were clearly horrified when their server started scolding them for not eating their food. I felt sorry for them and the server, I think he was embarrassed as soon as he realized they weren't in the mood for his antics!

Mama Melrose gets such bad reviews here it seems, but we loved it last year and would go back! The flatbread is yummy and we saw a lot of kids in there who looked like they were having a good time.
