Best TS restaurant for breakfast before AK?

But not Tusker House, because I'm planning on that for lunch.

We're planning a trip in November and staying mostly off-site but our first night in town will be at All Star Movies. I was thinking I would add the deluxe dining plan to that night's stay and eat our money's worth. It'll be me, DH, nine year old DD, and five year old DS.

I figure we'll use our first TS meal on our arrival night (not sure where yet, thinking of Raglan Road) and another for lunch the next day at Tusker House, as I'm planning to go to Animal Kingdom as our first park. I don't want to lose too much park time to dining, so I was thinking of doing a light Flame Tree dinner (paying cash & snack credits). That leaves me with one TS meal to use for breakfast.

If you were me, where would you go for breakfast? We will have a rental car but we don't have park hopper tickets. The kids would likely enjoy a character meal, but DD is past the age of princess obsession, so it's not necessarily a requirement.

Maybe try one of the restaurants at animal kingdom lodge, like Boma, since you will be in that area. But its not a character meal. You could do cape may at the beach club or the new character meal at the boardwalk if you want a character meal.

I know you said not Tusker, but they have an awesome buffet character breakfast.... so if you can do or dinner somewhere else etc. not sure!!

Another option is to do a late Tusker House breakfast. We like the 10:45 slots because you get and pay for breakfast, but lunch will roll out while we are there. I'd imagine an 1100 lunch would also garner you the opportunity to try some breakfast items.

I think Boma is too much like TH for the same day. While Boma is better (food-wise) it's just not differentiated enough.

I would do a 10:30 at Tusker House, and save the other credit for another day, or throw it all out and go to Tiffins and solve the credit issue.

This! We'd never be hungry for a TS lunch after a TS breakfast.

But, if you do still want to do both, we love Cape May breakfast at the Beach Club and 'Ohana breakfast at the Poly. Both are character meals

Maybe switch to TH for breakfast and do Rainforest Cafe for lunch or do RC for breakfast.
