we are now "toying" with the idea of going to MVMCP during our trip this year, IF we go to this then we will probably want to arrive at MK for 4pm (when you can get in with your MVMCP ticket) and make the most of the night so will NOT be having a big sit down meal in the park, will probably grab counter service somewhere. In the morning we are planning to be in animal kingdom, so thinking it would be nice to have a bit of a break before heading off to MK, so thinking of booking a lunch.
Our resort is Animal Kingdom lodge, I like the look of Sanaa but we have a few (3) very picky eaters int he group and none of them particually like spice so am a bit worried about taking them here which I felt would have been the obvious choice. SO where would you go for a nice lunch on the delux (3 courses) dining plan?
have never had a table service lunch before so am a bit lost.

We like Yak & Yeti for sit down at AK. If going to MK, maybe California Grill if open for lunch or late lunch.

Cali Grill does not serve lunch.

I would think your best bet would be either to dine in AK at Yak and Yeti or at Sanaa in your resort. That, or you could eat a late lunch at a Magic Kingdom resort before going to the party. Otherwise you will waste a lot of time in transit going back and forth. Options are the Wave, Kona Cafe, or the Grand Floridian Cafe.

There aren't too many signatures available for lunch. I think the only one is Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios. If you change your park to HS for that day, Brown Derby is definitely a good choice. Your credits do carry over until midnight check out day, so depending on what time you are leaving, you can use your extra credits on your last day that you didn't use previously if you choose not to do a signature. Last yr we did MNSSHP and just grabbed counter service in the park.
We enjoyed Yak and Yeti at AK. I've also heard good things about Sanaa. Unless you have your own car...your best choices would be at AK , AKL or at an MK resort but I'm pretty sure the earliest ressie you could get would be 5:00pm.

However, I just thought of something..if you want to do a signature, how about eating in the Castle. You could get a ressie anytime after 4:00 pm and still use only you MVMCP ticket.
