Going in January with DDP. We will be me, my mother (79), my brother, my sis-in-law and 2 nephews (7 & 5). Trying to make our ADRs and trying to get DSIL to tell me what restaurants they want to eat at. My mother, who hates any kind of confrontation, will not commit to any restaurant. She says to just pick them. She doesn't care. :scared1:. The boys do pretty well in sit down restaurants I think. We have one for sure, Chef Mickey's for supper one night for the 5 year old's 6th birthday. Other than that they have not said yet where they want to eat. I am pulling for Boma one night and maybe Le Cellier. What other TS restaurants would you suggest for younger children? I know they will find something to eat but would like to have something that would interest them.

Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge is alot of fun and we loved the food.

I second Whispering Canyon as well. Ohanas is another good one for everyone, food is okay, atmosphere nice, fun for kids. Maybe Sci-Fi in HS?

My DS8 loves buffets. That said, he did not like Boma or Akershus.
He even got into the Cinderella meal at Grand Floridian.

Coral Reef in Epcot to see the fish?

Um Garden Grill can be pretty Fun with the rotating dining area, characters, and really the food is good!

Personally I am not a fan of DHS for sit down meals, we always stay at Boardwalk so we always take the boat back to that area and eat either at boardwalk or yacht and beach, so with that in mind, we LOVE! Cape May, it is another buffet, but it is a clam bake, so yummy!!!!

I am a fan of boma, and think they offer alot there, so i guess it just depends on how adventuresome the little guys are.

Teppan Edo is really fun, so isn't Restaurant Marrakesh

Now if you can maybe pull them through to a late seating at Rose and Crown Pub, that is awesome, and get a patio seat and sit and watch illuminations!!

Yak and Yeti in AK has a great fun atmosphere plenty to look at while there!

Whispering Canyon is great fun, the Coral Reef for the aquarium, Tusker House for Donald and characters at breakfast Buffet( Mickey, Goofy, Daisy, too). They would probably like the antics at 50's Prime time cafe...THey have the best fried chicken and milkshakes on property.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace (pooh and friends).

The last time we were there, my boys were 4 and 7. They loved O'hana, Capre May and even 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella for dinner. This time, we are going to try Teppan Edo because they love the hibachi! Have a great time!

On one of our trips my sons were 5 and 7. Chef Mickey's will be a big hit - good choice!

It really depends on the kids, but my sons love Le Cellier, why because of the chocolate dessert that is shaped like a moose. It's not on the kid's ddp anymore, but maybe you could switch desserts with them??

They also love 50's Primetime diner, Coral Reef and O'hana.
