We are a group of 17 going during free dining in September, 8 adults and 9 children. This will be our fourth year in a row. I always try to schedule new table service restaurants. We are in Epcot for two days. I am certain one of those dinners will be Coral Reef. I originally thought maybe San Angel (sp?) the mexican table service, but one of the adults has been before and said it was not good!! :scared: Which I know most of DIS would agree. So what know? What would be the best TS? It does not need to be a character. Thank you for all your help!! :thumbsup2

I don't know if you would like this or not but it is awesome food and very entertaining... Tepann Edo. The Japanese restaraunt.... We love it and you would probably fit one table all by yourselves. They cook right in front of you...My boys 10-11 love it! I am not totally sure but I think they offer kids meals (chicken nuggets....) so they don't have to have what is on the menu. That was like that before they renovated a couple years ago. This would be my vote. Have fun!

At Biergarten, most of the tables already seat 8 so you'll have a good chance of all sitting together (especially if they can push 2 tables together or get you side-by-side tables). The food is good and the band is fun, especially for kids who want to get up and dance.

Thank you Supercalafragalistic! What a great suggestion! We were just talking about the Japanese TS the other day, but could not remember the name. None of us have been to this one either!!!! It also sounds like you enjoyed the food which is always a plus at a restaurant! Thank you again!! :thumbsup2

We love the restaurants in WS at Epcot. We get park hoppers and end our day there several evenings to eat.
I would recommend Teppan Edo as well. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. The chef cooks right in front of you and is very entertaining. I think the kids would enjoy it. A problem for you may be that the tables all seat 8. You would definitely be split among multiple tables.
Biergarden is supposed to be fun and good food. I am not a fan of German food, but we are going this year - so I will see.
We enjoy Restaurant Marakkesh in Morrocco a lot. It is beautiful, has warm friendly servers and the food is very good. They have a Morroccan band and a Belly Dancer entertaining. The Belly Dancer invites the little ones up at the end of her performance. It is lots of fun.
Have a Great Trip

Thank you Hopefully for your suggestion! Does Marakkesh have kid food? I enjoy Moroccan food, but I know we have some picky kids in the group! Thank you for your help!!

:I also suggest Biergaten. Lots of choices..BIG yummy ice cold beers :drinking1 and really fun atmosphere.
If you want to see the specific menus check out allearsnet.com. That way you can see if there is something that your picky eaters will enjoy. :)
