Okay, I am bouncing for Joy this evening. Hubby and I are passholders, so this year we have made many trips. Our last trip will be this coming January since our passes expire shortly therafter.
Since I am about to go back to school for a Master's, money is tight. We try our best to do Disney on the cheap since we will need savings when I am back in school. As much as we love Disney, school is the more important thing.
Our Original Plan: 4 Days, end of january at POP(usually we are at AS resorts), maybe a nice dinner to celebrate (and mourn ) our last trip for at least 3-4 years. This is a long time away for us..
WHAT WE HAVE NOW: 5 nights, 6 days. Polynesian resort, KTTK tour, HDDR dinner, all my #1 pick ADR's. Jan 25-30th.
It started off simple enough and has grown. All because of people knowing this was our last trip and making our christmas gifts into Disney things!! My parents? They wanted to upgrade us to a nice hotel, so we started price hunting. Through a good friend who is a CM we just booked the Poly for an insanely great price!!
With the money saved on hotel pricing we booked the tour!! Hubby's parents did HDDR for us! It has been insane. Our entire families know we are disney freaks and keep adding little things to this trip.
All I can think is that I have been seriously smiled down upon. I am dancing tonight since I just booked the Poly tonight. I can not believe it ... Polynesian!! You gotta understand this hotel was one of those things to do 'one day' when I have graduated and am making much more $$. To do this now, when it was never even an option, is a dream come true. Heck, I already had Kona ressies so this works out perfect.
