Best travel books for WDW?

I totally agree the unofficial guide is the best book for both first timers and disney vets, but I for those that haven't read the The Complete Guide it is a very close second and I believe for some it might be better. I have been waiting since October for it to come out!

Just got news from Amazon that "The Complete Walt Disney World 2010" will not be shipped until January 6th, 2010. That is a bummer. I was hoping it would be here as a stocking stuffer for my DW.

I'm happy to announce that Amazon is now shipping our book, The Complete Walt Disney World 2010, and has for a couple of days. Sorry for the delay... but at least this way the book has the most up-to-date info (including multiple photos and a detailed review of the re-opened Space Mountain). The revised guidebook now has nearly 550 color photos. Thanks to the readers who have contacted us about when the book will be available: the answer is (finally) now through Amazon. Barnes & Noble has also received over 3,000 copies for nationwide distribution. Thanks for your patience!

I am thrilled about this. I just ordered mine yesterday and I can't wait for it to come in. And it will get here just in time for me to be able to read it before my trip. Julie, I'll be looking for it again next year for my DD's trip so keep them coming!

Will do! I'd love to hear feedback after you've seen it. We take very seriously what readers think, and use it to fine-tune the next edition.

hi
i use the unoffical guide also, extremely good. i have got the brit guide to wdw 2010 and then use websites like here, allears.net, undercover tourist for the traffic light crowd control.
these are so helpful esp for secrets & tips:cheer2:

I like the Unofficial Guide, the Complete Guide, and The Passporter to aide in the planning of the trip. However, I only use the Passporter once I get there. Even my Non-Disney loving DH commented on how helpful the Passporter is. It holds everything you need. It is compact and fits easily into a backpack (I use a Vera Bradley backpack)! I also bought the pouch they sell that goes around the neck. It was most convenient for our KTTW and ID's. I must say that the Passporter is definately a must if you are serious about trip planning!

My two favorite books are the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (make sure to get the 2010 edition) and PassPorter's Walt Disney World.

Just got my copy of The Complete Walt Disney World 2010 and it is great. The pictures are awesome and I think the tips/advice are right on. I will reply more when I finish the book. So far, it was worth the wait!
