Flight doesn't land until 12:30am 😴 What would be the best option to get from MCO to Pop? It will just be me and my 15 year old daughter.

Your choices are Mears Connect, Uber/Lyft, taxi or private car service. My personal choice would be either Mears Connect or private car service rather than taking chances on who’s going to be my rideshare/taxi driver.

We're in a similar situation for our upcoming trip. Opted for Mears because a late night uber creeped me out.
Thank y’all! For some reason I was thinking Mears didn’t run after midnight. That seems like the best option, so we booked that. Usually an Uber person but didn’t feel comfortable with it that late, just us girls.

Obviously you found this out, but for benefit of others reading this thread, Mears runs 24/7. Sunshine Flyer stops running at 11.

Personally, I'd sleep at The MCO Hyatt and go to POP the next morning.
That is what we are doing with our late flight in September when we are staying at the Grand Floridian, but with Pop its cheaper for a night at Pop than MCO Hyatt.

Uber/Lyft guarantees you're going straight to your resort, no stops - if you're in a building far from the lobby, you could even ask them to drop you off there specifically. There's always drivers available in Orlando, even late at night. With Mears, you could be sharing a shuttle with someone and could possibly not be the first stop. A late night flight would make me want to go straight to bed and not share with other folks, lol.

Look at the Hyatt House across 528 from the airport. They have a 24 hour shuttle and can be had for 5,000 points if you have any Chase CC points. I'd much rather spend $50 worth of points for a night there, then catch a rideshare to WDW the next day rather than paying the inflated Disney price for a hotel you're only going to get to sleep in for half the night.

I'd still stay at MCO just to get to bed sooner. I haven't used Mear's but back in 2019 we used DME to POFQ after landing around 11pm, and after all the stops we made, we didn't arrive to our resort until after 1. We were so cranky and exhausted, spending the extra money would have been worth it to us.
