Best Transfers (No time for Amy's) Help

Oh man, I meant to order transfers from Amy, but with all the other things to do I wasn't able to do it and now we leave in 3 days!!!! Thinking I still have time to make at least 1 shirt for each of us, but I need a good recommendation on ready made transfers that I can just pick up at a store like Jo Anns, Michaels, etc. Last time I bought transfers they came out horrible (poor quality) so I dont want to mess around too much and waste my good items. Can anyone recommend a good brand and where to buy it! THanks!!!!

I had the best luck with the Avery transfers for dark t-shirts and I got them at Staples, but Office Depot has them too. We got the Hanes brand first and that was a DISASTER the ink just sat on top of the transfer paper. I thought we were doomed, but then I talked to a friend and she said to try the Avery brand. We did and our shirts that we did with those were Awesome. The one's for light t-shirts showed the color of the shirt through. The one's for dark t-shirts were very bright and both have held up through several washings. You can look at my thread to see samples of my completed shirts. I have bought Amy's transfers, but haven't used them yet. They just made more economic sense and I wanted to have them on hand. Hope this helps. Have a magical trip and a blessed day!!

I have used Avery as well with good results. I usually pick them up at Walmart a little cheaper than staples.

Thank you, thank you. I will try to find some tomorrow while the kids are at school, then surprise them on travel day with their new shirts! Woo hoo 3 days to go!!!
