From Orlando Airport, including a grocery stop, what in your opinion is the best available service? We are staying at SOG, so we cannot use ME. I've heard good things about FL tours and Tiffany, not very good about Mears. I'm getting ready to make our reservation because we are 5 weeks out :goodvibes , but want to double check with all you experts :thumbsup2 , what you think is the best way to get to WDW from the airport?

I have used both Tiffany and FL Tours. To be honest, I had more consistent good service with Tiffany. They were always prompt, waiting for me at the bottom of the escalator at MCO, very helpful with my bags. When I used FL Tours, one of my trips was not so wonderful. There was no driver waiting for us at the bottom of the escalator...dh had to go in search. After about 10 minutes, he found him outside having a smoke...and no, our plane was right on time, not early or late!!! It then took him about 15-20 minutes to get the car and get back to us. He was a nice guy though. Our return trip wasn't a lot better...once again, dh had to go looking for our driver. We were at BW, so expected the driver to be where all the other drivers had been. But, no...he was parked way down by the parks bus stop! We usually are about 10 minutes early for our towncar service pick-up time, so we weren't too concerned. But, the pick-up time came and went....another 10 minutes passes. That's when dh had to go in search...and found him way down by the bus stop. Same driver both ways...can't recall his name. I did use FL Tours again after that and all went well.
After using TT about 4 times, and FL Tours twice, and based on the service I got from each one...I would have to go with TT at this point. I sure am happy to have DME though. Makes my choices much easier.

We used Tiffany and the service was excellant! There was 7 of us and we reserved a van. He was waiting for us at the bottom of the escalators and he helped all of us get our luggage and took us right outside to the van. He was very polite and friendly. The trip back we had a very early flight and he picked us up at CBR at about 5:30 am and he was right there waiting for us!!!
I would use them again without hesitation. ;)

Does anyone know if TT is pretty good @ p/u if you're staying at the Hyatt @ MCO, then staying @ WL? :confused3

We are flying in & staying @ the Hyatt the day before we're to be picked up by "TT" to be able to hit the parks early & try & settle in. Just wondering if anyone has had come across this before?

Where does TT stop for their 20 minute grocery stop? :confused3 What if you go over the 20 min time limit for the stop.

We've always driven, and this time we decided to fly & use a limo (I did that not the husband), he'd rather drive......not (to long of a drive - over 19 - 22 hours) nope, plus I don't want to drive (we'd end up having to share the driving) :scared1:

I know there are alot of experts on this board, and that's why I came here to ask these questions. :worship:

I recommend Sunray Transportation. They've been great for my past four trips and I will be booking with them for four more trips this year. Always on time, friendly, safe, and accomodating and they offer a free 30 minute grocery stop. I always have something odd about my transfers - multiple transfers, odd hours, stuff like that - and they've always been 100% on their game!

Cheers!

Lorden Transportation - I had Dennis for my trip back to the airport because Jimmy with Golden Limo had another pick up at the time back in May 2005. I think Jimmy & Dennis are partners now from Anne's post a while back. These guys are great and reliable. Though I've never done the grocery stop, I'm sure it's not a problem.

Put lorden and transportation back together.

The runner up would be quick silver-tours. I used them in June 2004 and they were great.

put quick and silver back together.

Why all of sudden did humpty dumpty come to me?

I bet they would have no problems picking you up from the airport hotel. I was thinking about doing this too, will you let us know how that works?? :) They are always helpful in answering any questions you might have. Last year I set up several destinations, outtings and transfers without any problem! We were even picked up at Pleasure Island at 2 am and taken back to the HRH. Come to think of it, we were originally supposed to have a 1 am pick up and I called them to ask if we could extend our stay for about another hour and they said " sure, no problem" ! They werent even rude about it!! And yes of course we tipped well ;). The grocery stop is up to the drivers. We always ask to be taken to a liquor store instead of a grocery store and they have never had any problems with this.

I HIGHLY recommend Murray Hill Transportation! I use them every time I go to Orlando and have never had any problem whatsoever. Great communication, very friendly drivers, free 30 minute grocery stop and they are only $80 round trip if you use the $5 off coupon on their website.

The owners are John and Marie and they are just great people. My favorite driver (Tony) isn't driving for them anymore, he moved, and when I told John how disappointed I was, he told me he would come pick us up himself and if he made me feel better, I could call him Tony! :rotfl: -- Nice people, great price, excellent service.

i have used tiffany three times and *********** twice, no problems with either one. i am using *********** again in april when i go.

Sunray.

I've used FL Tours, *********** and Sunray. Sunray was by far the best--friendly, on time, professionsal and courteous drivers, spotless cars (an SUV), good price (look for discount on themouseforless.com).

Wilderness Gal,

We had TT pick us up at the Hyatt for our last trip and had no problem at all.

We did a grocery stop but for the life of me I cannot remember where it was! Sorry.

Sunray Transportation ( www.sunraytransportation.com ) is the service Ive been using. I think they are the best! Great drivers, great vehicles, always on time, great price. I won't even consider any other company. Sunray has been excellent everytime. We just used them again last week. Twice actually. Once from and to the airport, and then we used them last Sunday to go to a sports bar called Froggers in Orlando to watch the Steelers stomp the Broncos! (Sorry Bronco Bob!!) Try Sunray. I know you wont be disappointed!!

:cheer2: GO STEELERS!! :cheer2:
