Looking for some new apps, preferably free but will pay for a good one, for DD3 on the plane (connecting flights both ways, argh).

Videos, games, learning. She loves and already has Disney Jr, PBS kids, coloring, disney storybook and others.

What are your faves?

I love answering these because I have SO many!!!:yay: My daughter is also 3, and loves the same type of programs. They are listed in no particular order, but Dr. Panda games are probably both mine and her favorites. I didn't give descriptions, there are just too many! :dance3:

Here we go:

Toca Boca:
Hair Salon (any of them)
Toca Kitchen (regular or monsters)
Toca Birthday Party
Toca Doctor

Dr. Panda
Supermarket
Restaurant
Hospital
Beauty Salon
Airport
Daycare
Handyman

Messy Mania

Baby Food Fair (you need to upgrade for sure)

Max and Ruby Science

Yo Gabba Gabba

Disney's Pirate School

Easy Bake Treats (yes, like the oven)- it's lame, imo, but DD loves it

Play-doh Create ABC's

Peppas Party & Peppa Chick (Peppa Pig apps)

Talking Tom Cat (stupid, but hilarious- you speak and the cat talks back and is interactive)

Preschool Monkey Lunchbox

There's a Monster at the End of this Book (so cute!)

PERFECT!!!! Thank you SO much!!! I never know which ones to get -she usually finds them and asks, lol. She likes the Max & Ruby, too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :)

+1 to everything Toca Boca. I have an almost-4 and a just-turned-7 year old, and we haven't found one yet that they don't enjoy.

Good to know, THANK YOU!!!

I have to add that DD has learned SO MUCH with apps!! Great for letters and reading. She has the Leap Pad, too, and those are fantastic too. But lots more free options on the iPad. ;)

Second the Dr Panda and Toca Boca suggestions. Sago Mini also makes really cute games my three year old likes.

Endless Alphabet is fun too.

In addition to those mentioned the interactive "Appisodes" of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse are super cute, one is called Road Rally I believe.

We also download a bunch of videos from YouTube for my son to watch. He is currently obsessed with Hot Wheel cars, so we download him a bunch of hot wheel track reviews. He can watch those for hours and they are free!

We also spend about $10 on iTunes buying episodes of his favorite tv shows. At age 3 it was Peter Rabbit and Disney Junior shows, but currently he likes Wallykazam best.

Great ideas, thank you!!! DD loves all the YouTube videos of princess toy reviews, princess dress making, etc. lol!

Elmo loves ABCs is great. Thanks to it my 3 year oldDS can sort of trace out letters and keeps him entertained for long.
We also like the dinosaur train ABC app and have some episodes downloaded as well
The very hungry caterpillar is a good app, as well as the free Winnie the pooh one

DD LOVE the appisodes app. There are also quite a few preschool memory match games that she really enjoys. As silly as it is, DD also really, really enjoys looking at the Disneyland Explorer app that takes you through DL. She gets to see many of the things that she recognizes from WDW.

My DS (3) loves Toca Boca Trucks, Toca Hair Salon, Toca Trains, Community Helpers (free), Little People Market, & Disney Appisodes.

My almost 4 year old daughter loves the Endless Alphabet game. There is also an endless numbers and endless reader. She loves all 3. She also loves any coloring apps. And anything disney. Epically the road rally and jakes pirate school.

DS is 3 and loves jigsaw puzzles! We downloaded a bunch of puzzle apps, but Jigsaw Box is the best free one we have found. And you can choose how many pieces you want, so it can be as easy or difficult as you want. It also has the largest library of puzzles to choose from!

The other apps he enjoys (all free versions, we never pay for apps): Thomas & Friends Engine Activities, Abby's Colors, Color Drops, and Toddler Puzzle Shapes.

Just wanted to mention that some of the disney apps are on sale right now for .99. Watch to make sure the app supports your device I got the Frozen Storybook and it does not work on my DD's gen 4 ipod.

We LOVE endless alphabet.

They now have endless reader (which is sight words) and endless math (which is obviously numbers and adding, counting odd numbers/even numbers)
