My boyfriend and I are visiting 9/23 - 10/5. We are heading to all the other parks throughout our trip but I wondered, on the day we go to I.O.A, should we make our way straight to Harry? I understand we are going at a slower time so possibly less crowds but I wondered if we should still try and get to Harry before anything else? :confused3

Harry Potter is still a HUGE draw in Orlando, and therefore even in slow times can be busy.Waits for Forbidden Journey in January still were 45-60 mins throughout the day.I would head to Harry Potter first, If ollivanders wand shop interests you , DO IT FIRST , before Forbidden Journey( it is a small shop/show and they only take about 20 people in at a time so lines build fast and stay pretty long). Then ride Forbidden Journey. You can also try to visit Harrry Potter later in the day/evening , it does die down a bit.IF you are not staying onsite, be aware that onsite resort guests get into Harry Potter an hour before everyone else so there will be plenty of people in that section of IOA before you even get there.

We just returned from a first visit last week. Very low crowds.
We headed straight for FJ first time at park opening (not an onsite guest) and the wait was only 20 mins (it actually was less than 15)
At around 4:00pm it was down to 5min. (actually 0 mins)

We returned last Saturday morning at 10:00am and the wait was 20 min again.

Dragon never had a wait...

Spiderman and Hulk were never over 20 min.

The only ride we had to really wait for all week was Dudley Do Right. Brutally slow line.

I was there last Thursday, got there for opening and everyone ran to HP, so we just walked round everything else first, waits were 5-10mins for Hulk, Spiderman, Jurassic etc. so done everything else then went to HP later in day, only wait was FJ at about 40mins!

I'm not taking my chances on doing Harry first, I'm confedent that everyone else on this trip with us will head there first, so our small group will be going to a part of the park that everyone else will most likely pass through on their way to HP. We're waiting until the last few hours of the day to see the Wizarding World when we go.

I hope waits aren't too bad this Saturday!

It's up to you...but here's what my two daughters do...(huge Potterheadz)...
Get to IOA as early as possible...(1 hour before park opening when staying on-site)...and do the FJ. If time permits during another time of the day or later that evening, they go back and do it again.
They rode it 4-5 times on multiple days last Dec....even with full park!

Best wishes!
