Best times to fly?

So we decided to bite the bullet and fly to WDW this December. Our dates are the 11-19th to take advantage of (rumored) free dining at this time. That's flying out on a Sunday and home on a Monday. Now my question is to veteran fliers, what time of day do you imagine to be the least crowded? Theoretically we can fly in/out any time of either of those days it really doesn't matter which. We could also fly in on a Saturday instead, if that would help at all. Mostly I'm looking for the least crowded flights/days. Thanks!

Flying on Tuesdays or Wednesdays usually gets you the best ticket prices and I would suspect would get you the leaast crowded planes.

I hadn't even really thought of the logic there. D'oh! I'm not sure we can rearrange things to leave on a Tuesday, but I'll have to see if it's something that can be stretched out a little. Thanks!

Outbound, I would take first flight in AM, less chance of delays. On the return, I would pick early/late afternoon flight. Most business travelers go in the AM. Like to have good breakfast or lunch in the World before we leave. Plus hate early morning departure if using ME.
Saturdays tends to be more expensive and more crowded.

As far as crowded, every flight I've taken in the last several years has been packed. I've never noticed a time that the airport was less busy or more busy and we usually fly early evening, lunch time or early afternoon.

If you don't mind being a little flexible, I would choose the time of day that offered the cheaper flight.
Personally for us, we don't like to get home late in the day unless we're off the next day.
