Any help about when is the better time/day to visit Disneyland park during Spring break/Easter week.:confused3 I'm sure it's a busy time. Any advice is appreciated. This is our first time for Disneyland.

You would be better off going during the week as opposed to weekend. I would suggest a Monday.

Our first family trip was the week after Easter. We were supposed to be there Tuesday-Friday but ended up there Friday - Sunday. It was busy- the Saturday was nuts. They told us that the Tues-Thurs was busy but not too busy. I read in one of my many books that the weeks before and after easter were one of the park's busiest. We tried to book a last minute trip over Spring Break but a lot of the hotels had no room. I'm not a local though so don't really know- just what we experienced.

The week before and the week after Easter are usually a couple of the busiest weeks of the year for Disneyland. We have tried both. Our own experience has been that the week after Easter is slightly less busy than the week before. Easter is going to be really late this year, so this may skew the crowds a bit too. I would advise you not to go the Friday before Easter. That day just seemed crazy busy when we did it. Mid-week is often considered the way to go, but I have found Easter morning during the first few hours the parks are open to be really fun and pleasant and not too horribly crowded although the crowds will pick up later in the day. Perception of crowds is really subjective though. All of our trips of the last five years have been during what would probably be considered peak times, i.e. summer, spring break, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, so that's where I'm coming from. I would rank the two weeks surrounding Easter as having the potential to be the second busiest time of year behind the two weeks of Christmas and New Year's.

This year we went Saturday, Easter Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I didn't find any day unbearable. It rained on Easter so that kept many people out. Plus, I use Mousewait when I am in the park and avoid the long lines till later in the day when people start to leave. Of all days, Tuesday was the worst - the weather was perfect so the crowds were in full force. We rode a few rides first thing, bought our gifts, and headed home.

Easter is really late next year and I know most of the schools in our area that typically do Spring break the week after Easter are scheduled for the week before.

:thumbsup2Thank you so much to everyone who has replied to my post so far. Your advice and experience is greatly appreciated. Please, keep it coming.
