Best time to visit DL for Halloween?

I have always wanted to go to DL for Halloween and it looks like next year is the year its going to happen

What would be the best time to visit the parks for Halloween celebrations?
When are the crowds not too unbearable, etc etc.

To answer your question... depending on when they start HalloweenTime next year late September would be the least crowded. Although, if you want to go to Mickey's Halloween Party (and they only have them in Oct, as they do this year) then I would say the middle of October.

I haven't been at Halloweentime YET, but from posts I read, it sounded like weekdays are generally better than weekends. Just a guess, but I suspect the whole middle week in October (10/10-10/16) will be busy this year, as a lot of Arizona schools have Fall break then. I think Utah schools have teacher in-service near the end of that week too.

If you can wait to book until after Halloween, you should have some excellent data on how things went this year. Last year the Halloween party was in DCA, but this year it's in DL, so crowd patterns may be different than years past.
