We'll be driving to Port C from WDW on April 18, what time do you think is the best time to leave?
Not sure if we should get to the Port super early or wait until the major lines die down. What worked best for you?
Thanks!

We always make an 8 or 8:30 breakfast reservation and then head out from there. We take it easy for breakfast and do not rush at all. We always arrive to Port before noon and that seems to work fine for us :)

We usually leave around 9:30-10ish as well, stop for a quick last-minute Wal-mart run at Cocoa beach depending on time, and get there around noon. We have to return the rental cars, that takes around half an hour or so for the back/forth.

It takes about an hour from WDW but I'd allow at least 30 min for any kind of traffic bump depending on your PAT.
Earlier this month, I got stuck behind two cars that were going almost 5-8 miles under the speed limit when the road cuts to two lanes. Argh. lol I still got there in plenty of time but anything can happen.

Our PAT is 10:45, just wondering if it's worth getting there early leaving by 9-9:15 should work. Thanks!!

They don't start boarding the Dream and Fantasy until 11:15-11:30. The Magic and Wonder 11:30-11:45.
They usually have everyone on board by 12:30.
The parking garage opens about 10am. They let people into the terminal at 10:30
So if you don't mind hanging in the terminal for awhile and waiting a bit to board get there at 10:45. If you want to check in and walk on get there 12:30ish.

If not taking the bus from the resort, what are some of your favorite car services to take you to the port from WDW? Thanks.

The two cruises I took, we left at 9am both times. The first time it seemed like we had a longer wait after we were
Checked in but was able to get the Minnie pic. My cruise last year, we had a longer wait to go through security and by the time we checked in and used the restroom, they started boarding 10 mins after that. We managed to get a few pics outside and took one of Minnie walking by...so 9 worked for us by the time we drove, dropped the bags, and parked the car. I'm an Orlando local so having a sunpass helps with the tolls too.
