Best time to go?

Hi everyone! We are now looking at a Spring 2015 vacation at Disney. We had planned to take a vacation between March and May, and are now wondering what is the best month to visit Disney: March, April or May? Also, what would be the WORST time to go in that timeframe? We are interested in warm weather with not alot of rain, and more importantly, low crowds.

Also, has anyone attended Star Wars Weekend in May? My DFi LOVES Star Wars and from what I've read, I think he would enjoy it, just wondering about other people's experiences.

Not sure what the best time to go is because I always hit lines. Star Wars is a lot of fun. My grandkids loved seeing the characters, special parades, and shows.

Spring break is spread out between March and April so crowds can be high certain weeks. We can still have cold fronts during those months so warm weather is not guaranteed. If it rains, it can be an all-day thing instead of a quick afternoon storm.

We love going in May. Crowds usually aren't too bad and the weather is warmer. Love bugs are a pain though.

Mid March through Mid April is peak season for Spring Break and the parks can be very crowded. I would either try for early March, late April, or early May (before it starts to get so hot).

LOL I actually had to Google that because we don't have Memorial Day in Canada. We have a holiday the Monday before, so thanks for the tip, because we may have ended up there during Memorial Day is we started our trip on our long weekend.

We did Star Wars Weekends in 2009 in May and it was very fun. I think if you are a fan you should do it once. Crowds were manageable. One thing, we were not prepared for the jungle hot/wetness of that time of year, so muggy. As well as One Big Rainstorm per day, wow we don't have rain like that where we live. But we had Ponchos and rolled with it. Alas, we are now January people... LOL
