I have been thinking, for a while now,i tend to overthink things!and maybe November isnt the best time for us to go,it was cold enough in March when we went and i dont want to tempt fate again and go when it could be even colder and everyone be ill again!
So,when is the next nicest time to go,is September usually warmer?

For the past 2 years' DH and I have always gone in September - still quite warm and not too busy. The only thing with September we found is that I'm not quite sure what exact date it is but at some point you go into Winter opening hours and things like some of the shows are not always running.

This year we went in June and have decided next year to go back in September.

I like September, we used to go every year in September and there were hardly any queues and the weather pretty good, last time we went was nov 10, it was nice. Not too busy but it was quite cold towards the end of our stay, we are going in nov this year too, Christmas is a really nice season to visit in x

Last year , we went oct 10 - 14. Weather was great, we didn't need coats just jumpers & was sooo quiet. And was Halloween theme too.

We're doing nov this year as we wanted to see christmas theming. Am hoping will be just as quiet. We had a fab time last year & my dd loved it. Am going to be prepared with the layers & thermals!

I've not yet been in September but going this year and have to say, I've heard nothing but positives. However, check out the ride closures etc if you were thinking to go this year. There's not that much closed but still a few things. Something to consider. Really good prices as well at the mo with the 40% sale.

Our first trip was at the end of September - the parks were lovely and the weather was warm!

Last year we went in November and yes it was cold, but honestly, I think it was just as cold the previous May when we visited!! At least in November we were expecting cold and dressed appropriately, thermals, ski jackets, hats & gloves, etc. Plus with the Christmas theming and hot chocolate - it was great! :santa:

Has anyone gone in June or July?

From mid June you have Spain and Italy on holiday followed by France starting first weekend of July and from then on July is busy busy but you get longer hours and at least in the last half of the month better weather.

We went end September and caught the beginning of the (old) halloween decs and theming and it was wonderful. Best trip out of all our trips and I do think it was partly because it wasn't so busy, lots of characters about, weather was kind (we did have one day of drizzle all day which soaked us through but we'd gone prepared with lightweight waterproofs so it wasn't an issue and not cold at all).

I'm sure going in September you would have a lovely time. Yes, the parks close earlier, but because you don't have the queues during the day, you can get so much more done anyway and it's nice to retire to your hotel (or dinner) on the evening and relax, rather than feeling you still have to rush around the park because it is open!

thanks for answering I am starting to stalk this forum and have a billion questions:hug: I think it may have to be the end of July or the last week of June and first week of July. What do you think?
