Best time to go

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but DH and I are already thinking about a return trip sometime before Christmas. When in your opinion is the best time to go. When are crowds/weather most bearable for you and the kiddies.
We're hoping theyre will be a bounceback offer while we're there(we leave in 2 wks), and would just like to have an idea in our heads for when to go.

I like September. It is hot, but low crowds. Plus, if you are lucky, you can get free dining!

Does everyone get offered a bounceback while there??Ive heard some people say "only if you're lucky enough to get a flyer in your room". But this seems silly to me? If we dont have a flyer should I just be bold enough to ask at the front desk? And has anyone been offered a bounceback recently?
