Here are our favorite times to go for lower crowds:
1. Mid to late January or early February. Avoid the holiday weekends. If you go on one of the holiday weekends, make the weekend days non-park days.
2. First two weeks of December. Pop warner football is usually the first week sometime, so the value resorts will be a bit crazy, but we didn't find it had much of an impact on the parks, at least not when we were there.
3. Early to mid May.
4. Last couple of weeks in August. This one is a love/hate relationship. We love it because the crowds are lower (which was an unexpected surprise the first time we went at this time). We hate it because it's blazing hot. So, if you can tolerate the heat, this is a decent time to go.
