Best time to go to Oogie Boogie Bash?

Does anyone have an opinion about the best time to go to OBB? We've never been and I'm going to try to take my daughter if we can get tickets. Not sure if I should try for Sept. or Oct. I keep hearing they will both be hot and crowded, so trying to decide which time might be slightly better.

It always sells out so take that out of the equation. We have gone at the end of September, about the 3rd or 4th week and it is warm during the day but once the sun went down it is better.

The issue with October is if you are visiting the parks outside of the OBB they are very busy. October at Disneyland was more crowded to me than Thanksgiving or Christmas. So even though I love fall and October I'd probably choose mid-late September.

I agree. I have went in September and October. There was no difference for the party but in the days we attended the park October was busier.
