Best time to go? October, November or December.

I am starting to think about planning a trip next year and am looking for thoughts on the best weeks in the fall. My kids will be 2 and almost 5 at the time so I am trying to take advantage of the slow season before my kids get into school and I am forced to follow those vacation times.

What are your thoughts on the best time to go for about 4 or 5 days next year?

I'd avoid Christmas and Thanksgiving week. Those will probably be the most crowded of those three months. I like the week after Veteran's Day, before Thanksgiving. Partly because it's my b-day and partly because there's less crowds (or have been in my experience). Plus Christmas decorations are usually up by then. I also like weeks in the middle of Oct. I love Halloween at DL (just as much as Christmas time).

Of course you never really know for sure, but avoid the holiday weeks and go during the week, that's your best bet for lower crowds.
