I need the opinions of you experts!

My 21st birthday is this year, on December 16th. My DBF and I are planning a trip to DLRP to celebrate. However, going on my birthday is not an option as I'm at uni until the 21st December, and we have to (somehow) fit a trip in to go see Robert's parents before Christmas as well as being home for Christmas day. Now, is it best to slot a trip in the week after Christmas, or is it better to wait until after the first few days of January when I assume it will be quieter? Price is also a big factor in this choice!

Thank you for any advice you can give me!

How annoying i just typedd a message and then it disappeared lol- cant remember what i worte now- oh well :headache:

I guess you mean the week between xmas and nye, well i havent been for that week or in jan but i have been for nye, we arrived on the 30th which wasnt busy at all but i guess alot of ppl were leaving that day that had stayed over that week- therefore my guess is that it is very busy then. We stayed till the 2nd and even then the park were alot less busy- sooo my choice would be to go in Jan(do bear in mind at its freezing tho, so lots of layers needed:cold: ) I think that way you get to enjoy xmas and nye and then have a trip to look forward to after all that excitement is over, and if you go b4 the 6th you'll still get to see the xmas stuff, plus its going to be alot cheaper. That would be my thoughts anyway.
I can see that the week after xmas we would be nice tho too.
lol not much help am I :rotfl:

After 2nd January it'll be much quieter and you'll get the last of the Christmas season if you're interested in that.

So general consensus of opinion here is early January? Well, we'd have to wait until after the 4th (Robert's birthday) but I think that could be done... Providing I know my exam timetable!!

We went the week between Christmas and New Year last year and it was horrendous crowd wise. You couldnt see to breathe never mind move

January will be much cheaper than the week after Christmas, and much quieter, especially if you can visit during the week. Low season pricing will apply from visits starting from (probably) Sun 4th Jan, plus the "extra night free" offers should start again then too. :thumbsup2
